PSQL Radio: A Year in Review

    HollyA lot happened in 2006!

Over the past year we posted many updates to our white papers, success stories and other collateral. Many PSQL users might be surprised to know that there are over 50 papers on PSQL that can be sorted by country, industry or product family ... and that does not include the various white papers on data migration, upgrading and data security.

In this month's PSQL Radio edition Product Manager Jim Beecher provides a recap of highlights featured in all the PSQL Insight editions throughout the year. He also highlights some important areas where you can find useful information on our Web site such as white papers, success stories, support policies and our community forum DEVTALK.

    Have a listen.

Tech Tip: Learn How to Use the PSQL v9 Bulk Data Utility

A new feature that was introduced in PSQL v9 is the Bulk Data Utility (BDU). This feature can be used to import data into a PSQL database table and is extremely helpful for loading large amounts of data in "bulk" mode operations used in data migration or data population. The utility supports many options for optimal flexibility.

For an example of how to use this new feature, click here.
