PSQL Just Keeps On Truckin'
GPSNet is a transportation software provider that offers hosted, Web-based solutions to regional trucking companies across the US, Canada and Mexico. Since 2001, GPSNet has used Pervasive Software to meet its back-end database and high-availability needs. Rapid growth meant that GPSNet had to scale up its back-end systems before its growth had a negative effect on its server farm. They evaluated numerous solutions including hardware upgrades and load-balancing solutions. Unfortunately, none of the off-the-shelf solutions met their strict requirements.
