End-of-Support for Pervasive.SQL V8 is quickly approaching! The End-of-Support date is December 31, 2006.

What does this mean to me?

  • Pervasive.SQL V8 will no longer be available from Pervasive Software.
  • No Complimentary Support is offered.
  • Phone support is available for a premium charge, however, no fixes or
         resolutions are guaranteed.
  • No support is available via the Web.

  • Contact your Pervasive account manager or local sales representative to upgrade to the latest version of Pervasive PSQL and continue to enjoy industry-leading performance from your database solution.

    How to Administrate Pervasive PSQL Through Terminal Services

    Microsoft Terminal Services (TS) is a multi-session environment that provides remote computers access to Windows-based programs running on a server. Citrix MetaFrame extends the Windows Terminal Services with additional client and server functionality.

    When referring to product documentation it mentions that you cannot use Pervasive Control Center (PCC) through a terminal session to configure a remote database engine. You must use PCC at the terminal server console or through a standard remote connection to configure the database engine on the terminal server machine.
