RSS Feeds

What is RSS?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an easy to use method for news content distribution. It is simple, fast, and uses little bandwidth. It does not require you to even visit our website unless you are interested in a particular headline and its summary. It empowers you to find and read the news you want when you want it.

What Software Do You Need?

To read and subscribe to RSS, you need newsreader software. It's usually free and takes up very little space on your machine. Click here for a source of newsreaders. There are LOTS of them available on the Web. Here are a few; Rss Reader, SharpReader, Pluck and many more.

Once you've downloaded a newsreader, it's simple to subscribe. For our site, we suggest subscribing by:

  • "COPY" the URL address that you're interested in (for example: http://www.pervasive.com/blog/index.rss)
  • "PASTE" the URL address into the newsreader "Subscribe" or "Open RSS Feed" dialog
  • Click the "Subscribe" button in your newsreader
  • You're done!
